Poor guy was robbed and beaten so badly he died. Will this be a hate crime?? Not hardly. Let the rolls be reversed and al and Jesse would be all over it. One more reason to stay away from jackson. Prayers for his family. Haven't seen this on fox......yet. Hope they pick it up and shed light on the situation. Won't be a hate crime, just a robbery where they beat a man to death!!!!! Big difference in robbing someone and beating them to death. Just look at how many of the brandon kids got sentenced in the dedmon trial. How is this any different??? At least they caught the guys. Now as to what punishment they face will tell the true story.

I think you will see this type of criminal activity increase because of the administration's desire to stoke the fires of racism and police brutality. At this point I believe we are fighting a losing battle at least until the next election..And then it may get worse!! If we elect a Republican those protesting the police and racism will now blame the next administration.. I think we as a country have become so divided that we will continue to blame and point fingers until something dramatic happens, like 9-11 or some huge natural disaster, or we can find a true leader that can bring the country back together.. Unfortunately, even with all the candidates lining up for the 2016 election, I don't see that charismatic, competent leader in the field yet.. I am afraid things will get a lot worse before they get any better..

Eric was a solid guy. Very faithful in our church with our youth and in our choir. I knew Friday morning when I heard about it that he had not just fallen in the parking lot and hit his head hard enough to have the brain damage that they were saying he had. I told my wife at lunch that it sounded like someone caught him from behind and jumped him. Sure enough my suspicions were correct. My family and I eat at that Waffle House on a regular basis after Church activities, but that has now changed. Praying for his mother and family today as they lay him to rest.

Cops are to busy writing tickets looking for dui etc and scared to go into the ghetto and address the problem. Here in batesville or in Jackson area you see cops lined up on interstate looking for smugglers. When you have drug dealers in all over town.
