is it the usa made stuff or over seesGET-N-RITE wrote:Never owned McAlister till it went on sale. Had the old Columbia stuff forever, and now I have new Columbia stuff. Still can't believe they warranted bibs and pants I bought when I was 17. Anyway got a full line McAlister bibs, wader coat, vest, jac shirts, pants, etc for extremely cheap. Maybe I should do like the old rnt calls and strike while the iron is hot. Bibs, pants, and 3 shirts are still in the packaging.

Re: Mcalister gear
I am assuming its the USA stuff. About 2 or 3 years ago we were in the blind (slow day)and ordered about 2,000 dollars worth of stuff off the McAlister website before they shut it down. Six guys in the blind acting like kids. Swear I heard they aren't going to make it anymore so buy everything you want. Then field supply had a big sale and I bought some shirts from there.hntrpat1 wrote:is it the usa made stuff or over seesGET-N-RITE wrote:Never owned McAlister till it went on sale. Re: Mcalister gear
Josh, pretty sure your camp pal with the new gear just picked my name out of a hat. I'm one of 12 folks who get to buy a gear bag. You get one via the insider's hookup? I'm looking forward to getting it.
Never assume.
Re: Mcalister gear
Good deal!
I'm sure there may be one or two laying around for us to use.

That's pretty good.
BTW, nice to have you back around these parts. This forum needs the collective wisdom and character of guys like you and Don Miller to thrive.

Well I'll just throw this out there, but I am looking for a Filson tin cloth 2xl if anyone has one they are willing to part with. Tried on the new drake coat at MPW last weekend and did not like it all. But I realize I may get told to rub a lamp and make another wish!!

Crackhead - how's that jacket fit, comfortable to shoot in? Went to order that same coat and the guy said the shoulders aren't articulated and uncomfortable to shoot in? Any problems? Did you order a size up?crackhead wrote:After my original mcalister wax coat died on me last year with 10 seasons and probably 5 tins of Filson wax on it I got a Filson green tin field coat. Wouldn't look back or even think about getting the paper thin drake coat.
