Oak Trees Wanted

I would like to get a couple bags of trees. Oak trees like they are planting all over the delta on the CRP land. I tried to get some this weekend but them boy's planting them ..."me no englash"...Anybody know where to get em :?:

future forrest inc. in greenwood. Good luck a lot of crp gets planted this time of year, and the trees are hard to get.

Depending on where you're at the NRCS offices have been giving them away the last couple of weeks. Check there and then the Foresty service first. Free is better, tree quality is fine.

I got a couple of bags for a friend over the weekend and I can probably do the same for you but you'll have to come to louisville to get 'em.

you can contact Yazoo Hardwood Nursery at Merigold, MS ....phone 662-719-2912. Ask for Mark Yarborough. The price is reasonable......probably 22 to 25 cents per seedling.

Most of the NRCS offices have already had their free tree give-away for the season. However, you might be able to still get some by contacting the MS Forestry Commission in your county.
