Anybody tired of Coach K yet??

Okay I can't blame the guy for the money he has had to have made, but how many commercials can one guy make? There are the Chevy commercials, and then there are the four or five American Express commercials. I am tired of seeing the guys face on every commercial break. I like Coach K, think he is a heck of a basketball coach, but enough is enough!

That's the perks of the job. Most people don't understand that the majority of a coach's salary comes from outside the university. Every coach in the nation gets a cut for this and that. At one point Coach K was getting $250K from Nike to have his 15 players wear their shoes. Same goes for jerseys, but it's considered "private" income and isn't to be discussed, as Coach K said a few yrs ago on 60 Minutes. His salary paid by Duke is chump change compared to all the extras he gets. I'm surprised they are still showing his commercials after his team got knocked out.........just wish MSU would've done the favor. Stansbury has adidas jerseys and shoes so he gets double money. Polk had a major deal with Easton but now Russell Athletic is trying to cut that out except for just bats.

Jeff, I am not saying I am against what he did. I am more or less just saying I am tired of seeing the commercials over and over and over and over.......

Jeff, I wasn't implying that.......just gave the reasons why they'll do those commercials. I'm tired of them also, but when they take a 5 min commercial for every 2 minutes of play.....they'll show them as much as possible.
