Super Bulldog Weekend

Postby pondman » Thu Apr 07, 2005 11:37 am

Anybody headed to Starkville this weekend to watch the spring football game then watch the Auburn game? If so post up.

I'll be there with wife and child in tow visiting with some friends in the Left Field Lounge.

I don't know if I'll make it or not, with the football and baseball games being broadcasted on tv saturday.

Have to make the commitment to my 11 yr old first as he plays at 12 noon on Saturday. We'll then watch the games on TV. I hate missing it but I will enjoy listening to Croom do the color commenting on the game. It will be like this....

Gottfried: "Coach, what can you tell us about that offensive line?"

Croom: "Mike, we absolutley stink at offensive tackle! They couldn't block their way out of a wet bag so our incoming freshmen will have to get ready in a hurry. If we didn't have so many drug dealers and chickenschit quitters we could have had a decent O-Line in 2005"

I love Croom's honesty. It sure beats the "mumble, mumble, mumble, #12 has an ankle, mumble, mumble, mumble" of a previous coach!

Po Monkey,

Yeah State lost Saturday but it was an unbelievable ball game. I can't remember a better college game.

By the way, how did Mississippi do??

I will be the first to say, Not very well! I have revised my prediction and say we will win 2 as long as 1 team forfeits.
