Postby Max » Thu Apr 21, 2005 10:02 am

Anyone got a supply of pigeons I can catch or buy? $8 ducks are breaking me!

Cheers,

If someone can hook me up with a trap, I can probably come up with some here in GWood. these suckers are every where around the office and I have roof access to trap them from.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Get you some corn and drill small holes in each peice. Tie some thread to the corn and the other end to something stable. Put out a bunch of corn and the ones you tied up. The bird will swallow but can't fly away. catch the birds and cut the thread, they will pass it. Theres your trap.

Hey teul, if you end up doing that give me a call. I want to sit there and laugh while I watch you drill a little-bitty hole in 200 kernels of corn. That doesn't sound like much fun. For $.25 a piece, I'll hold the kernel while you drill it.

I have never tried it but it sounded funny. My dad grew up on gaurd row and the state pen. he said they used to do it and sale them to the inmates to eat. You said you needed a trap.
