New east coast guy

Postby Booster » Wed Apr 27, 2005 11:21 am

Hi all! I have been lurking here for a good while and after the last few days reading here, I decided to go ahead and register. I am one of the North Carolina guys who come to Miss. to hunt ducks. Now before you start, I always use a guide service, and I have also made friends who own their own land and invite me. I do not hunt on public land, and I totally understand the fraustrations expressed at this forum.

Unlike some hunters from this way, I have bartering chips if you enjoy other outdoor sports. I am an avid fishermen and fish the atlantic for both surface and bottom fish. I have hunting rights on several farms and hunt deer, squirrels, rabbits and sometimes doves. I am willing to share any of these with people who want to come here first and enjoy them, if they will be nice enough to invite me to duck hunt when the time comes. I'm getting long winded here, but please dont attack me, I dont think I am like the people that are complained about in here.

Simple fact is,... and always will be,...... Public land is just what the name says,......FOR THE PUBLIC !

SOME PEOPLE WILL NEVER GET ACCUSTOMED TO THAT CONCEPT !

DANG GOOD OL BOYS,......JUST A LITTLE HARDHEADED !

Unfortunately,.... We are rapidly approaching the times,..... where public land will be all there is to hunt !

The Ultra-wealthy, and extremely fortunate will, one day, have exclusive rights to "ALL" prime hunting lands !

Good luck, in your QUEST !

YA HEARD IT HERE FIRST !

Rip Em !
OFFSEASON ?,..... Ain't no such thing !

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I was sure that Benny was going to jump on me!

Benny I fish for bayfish and both surface and bottom fish out in the atlantic. We catch a few grouper and a good many surface fish.

Sorry but I dont talk about where I hunt, location is better kept to oneself.

I will say that I have shot a few black ducks and others on the coast.

It is fun, but a cypress slough in that delta country over there is a place like no other, and I really enjoy hunting in them. I do not like open field hunting all that much, the trees seem to make it better to me for some reason.

Thanks again people!
