That's awful, especially the way it happened. Hang in there things will get a little easier with time.

I really hate to hear your loss. I lost my 6 year old female three years back to a similar accident. I have "Hoss" now and he is no doubt my best friend. But not a day goes by in the swamp I dont think about my ol girl and the times we shared together.

Once again i'm sorry for your loss and may time heal your wounds.

Sorry Shoot, It puts a big hole in your heart to loose a companion. Time will heal though.

Those of us who have had the great priviledge to have a special Lab (or any breed) can feel your pain. As many have already posted, Brandy's memory will be with you always. They will be a major part of your life memories. God speed.

For those of you that hunt around Valley Park, Mahanna, Mims Mitchell with Uncle Walt, Brandy was the pup of Andy's black male lab Bimmer and Scott's chocolate female Candy. This is also Uncle Walt's black lab Sam's (brother to Bimmer) niece. The litter mates are (Andy's) Ritz, (RB's) Smoke, and (Scott's) Dixie. Ritz, Smoke, and Brandy are/were all excellent hunting dogs. These pups have not only excellent bloodlines, but anyone who hunted with Bimmer, Sam, and Candy know the caliber pup that Brandy came from. I met Shoot in '87 and have worked along side him thowing drunks out and drinks back in the early 1990's. Was there when he was cut out of his uniform after a motorcycle accident as one of Hattiesburg's finest, and have duck, deer, and turkey hunted with him every year since then. I called him Tues after returning from Talladega and he was the lowest I had ever heard. Bad year, we lost Sam and Brandy so close together. Just remember all the good times we had together.
