I've been begging them to replace him! Of coarse they probably haven't heard me since I don't have my magical tv that can operate both ways! Let Reitsma try to close one, even though he did catch the loss Monday night!

Dan Kolb (1-4) blew a save for the third time in 13 chances by allowing three hits and two walks in the ninth.

Nice game Danny!

He has allowed 12 runs in 19 innings and bosts a 6.48 ERA. Great numbers for a closer! Think of how many games we would be in 1st place with a decent closer!

I hate the Braves for the simple fact of when I get ready to watch a baseball game on tv the freakin' Braves are on all 5 sports channels, for no reason at all. They are trying to shove the Braves down my throat, and I resent it.

Go Yankees..........winners of 10 straight. :D

They traded Jose Capellan, a middle reliever who throws in the upper 90's but with control issues, to the Brewers for KolBB. He was an All-Star closer for the Brew Crew last year.

GH22, any predictions for this weekend? State seems to play pretty well at home and will fighting for a tourney bid. Hopefully my Tigers can keep their hot hitting going. Whupped the Vols two days and got whupped once.

State has to win 2 of 3 to make it to the tourney. I will concede the Dirks game saturday, but we've gotta get on Mestepey and Smith early.

Watch out for Smith too, he had a streak of over 23 innings of shutout baseball. Has some nasty stuff. How is ya'lls pitching?

Ain't no fish or ducks in Eagle Lake........next question please.

As for our pitching, it's up and down. One weekend the starters will get knocked out before the 5th, the next weekend all of them damn near throw shutouts.

Our fri starter threw a 2 hit shutout against LSU 2 yrs ago, but followed up last yrs meeting with 2 2/3 inn, 12 runs. LSU loves hard throwers, which we don't have. MSU hates lefties with a passion, and LSU is throwing three.

hell i can remeber when i lived in grenada and we use to have only 3 channels.. abc was out of greenwood.. nbc was outta of tupelo.. seems like we had a station outta memphis as well... then somewhere in my childhood we got cable and i was able to watch the braves on a regular basis... so... while some might complian that the braves are now on t.v too much.. i can remember a time when there was a completely different story..
