Get your 'call muff' while supplies last!!

Postby Anatidae » Fri May 20, 2005 6:07 pm

I can't believe this....... :?

Image

.........who would buy such a thing? On second thought, nevermind......I bet they sell a ton 'o these things.

I'd almost drop my 'Wildfowl' subscription for puttin' crap like this in there. What an insult to duck hunters everywhere!! :? I guess it's been proven that a desparate duck hunter will buy just about anything if they think it'll help'em kill a duck.

It says, "field tested from 50 degrees to 20 below zero". Well, if you think about it...... what's the point in testing it in temperatures above 32 degrees? How stupid do they think people are? Nevermind.

Uses owner-supplied handwarmer? This HAS to be a joke! :P

Who's gonna want to cover-up their pretty chartruse/blue duck call with something white or camoflaged?.......the least they could do is offer a wider range of colors so you can 'accessorize' your outfit with pretty little puffy-fluffin's like this. At least offer a wider range of camo patterns. And how 'bout a DU logo on there.........man, they really missed that one....what a no-brainer! :?

What next?

Hey Anat, turn that wildfowl mag over on the backcover and tell me what you see, guessing it's the new mag that just came out. :D

On the very back cover?........I see a guy that probably wishes he hadn't set-up facing the sun.....who's got his cap pulled down so far that when he goes to shoot, he has to raise his head so high to see the target he'll be so far off the gun and be totally blinded by the sunlight, that he doesn't stand a chance in hell o' hittin' what he shoots at. See, that's the whole point of the ad......even the average idiot can be well-hidden in our camo.

I also see his dog isn't marking whatever the dude is shooting at, which tells me there ain't nothin' out there but the camera man :? ........or the dog is looking at the duck and the hunter is swinging on a sun-spot.

What did you see?

My bad, on the last page on the inside of the back cover. The new RNT add with their newest employee in a finisher pretending to blow their snow goose call. :D

Yeah, I saw the RNT ad.........but that doesn't make me want to rush out and buy any o' their products. Cute young lady, though.......I'm trusting she really likes goose hunting and gets a lot of invitations to hunt because she's a good caller and hunter. You GO, girl!!

Huwhat? Is this for real? Somebody will buy it, I want to call and be a dealer.

If I get stuck with a bunch I'll just re-market it as a pecker muff. Keep your monkey-bone warm and on a string so you can find it down in your waders.

Hey pardner, help me out and pull my string would ya?
