If they make them for golf clubs, why not duck calls. Some damn idiots will end up buying them.

I bought some to give chuckles12 and dukbum for Christmas. Am hoping it'll give their calling just the right "pitch"

Yes......it's very important that your call has the right 'pitch'. If you don't know what RR is talking about....then by all means, let him show you.

It's an age-old 'secret' to successful calling that only the most experienced duck hunters are qualified to share with other hunting enthusiasts.

Hey......I got to thinkin' just how ridiculous this 'call muff' thangy is.

So, a guy that has 5-6 acrylic calls on a lanyard needs call muffs on all of them to protect them from getting beat-up. Yeah, that sounds reasonable.

But here's another reason: Picture the guy that has say, 4 calls around his neck. He has a hard time picking-up the right one when it really counts, not only because he can't make up his mind which one to use right then, but then he has to find it among the other 3. If he's got call muffs on all of them, it would help him get to his call quicker (any call), because he'll eventually figure-out that by the time he finds the call he's looking for, the ducks are gone. The next time.....he'll just grab ANY call and blow it. If he's got more than 4, chances are.....it won't matter which one he picks-up, anyway.
