Is he from Greenwood? Older guy with a b/f and drives a trooper?
I think I met him a few weeks ago.

I came out of work and heard a whistle hitting across the river. He was over at the boat landing between the bridges working a b/f on some blinds. Blinds so long he asked me to drive the dummy out there  .
Really nice guy. Really good dog.

If it is the guy I met he has my number (I lost his). Ask him to call me if you see him.

How about Sunday afternoon, the 29th? We could meet at Little Round Lake just south of Greenwood. That's the one just across highway 49 from the landfill. Me and Don train there sometimes. Good open field, some trees and the lake with timber. I can bring a boat for working the dogs off the deck. Nice place for ground and water training.

If you are looking to train around Greenwood, Don would be a good one to meet. I met him earlier this year when we had a mock HT set up. Tammy Cook also does alot of mock HT on the weekends that she is not running HT's.

I tried getting in touch with Tammy. She didn't act like she had much intrest. Don told me that he trains with her all the time.

Jim, It looks like I may be in JAfrica this weekend, what time you have in mind sunday? I'll come back to train with some one that really wants to.

i'm glad yall added my name and I will be there. Just tell me where. Took the pup out to take care of business this morning and she brought me her first bird. A damn mocking bird she found in the shrubs. She brought it to me. I told her to sit and she did. gave me the bird. I told her to shake and she shook my hand. What a dog.

Are you game for the fame to train in the rain like they do in Spain?
You duck hunt in the rain, I should think it would be the same to train in the rain. I'm game! Are you the same?

Yep we got together and yep it rained on us. But Spoonallard said we duck hunt in the rain so we might as well train in the rain.. the following showed up...
JimAir with Delta and Special
Dandy Don the tamalie king with Mandy
Don Miller with Chief
Spoonallard with his four month old yellow lab pup and his pretty baby daughter.
Teul2 with a fine looking Chessie that I don't know the name of.
We played around with the dogs for a little over an hour when a big bolt of lightening struck just across the lake...we don't duck hunt around lightening. I enjoyed it..but I was the only one who brought any rain gear too. Till next time guys.
