yeh I guess Polk should stay since the boys came through and saved his season, but we all still need to remember our season before the tourney, and the years prior to this season, not much to bragg about, maybe these wins will rejuvenate the whole program, anybody who knows baseball would look at Polks last few years and realize maybe the time has come for him to move on.....like to AD....but Im happy either way as long as we are winning. Like I said before winning programs are the ones that werent afraid of getting rid of losing coaches...

Count me in that group. This was a great win, but we'd never do it again in a 100 years.

It's still time to reorganize the program from the top down.

i'll admit that i've been unhappy and even critical at times... i don't feel as if i went so far as to say coach polk should resign..

we do have very high expectations in our baseball program... so high in fact that no other sports program, from any other school in this state, can relate to what is expected from our baseball program...

see its automatically assumed that we will be in a regional and we will be competing for a right to go to omaha... we've been doing it for so long that we as fans have lost sight of just how difficult it is to stay at that championship level for such an extended time period... not to mention that the conference that we play in has only gotten that much more difficult as time passes. this spike in the abiltity of our competition is due in part to our own success!

we don't need to lose sight, which can be hard at times, of just how good we've had it at msu.. no we haven't won a national championship, but we've played the game of baseball at a level thats better than 95% of the schools in the ncaa..

good job polk and msu.. sorry for being critical, just wanna win bad thats all... no go out there and keep up this roll!!!!
