Bird Dogs doing what they do

Here is a picture of my English Pointer, Man, locked up on a covey.

Now here is Pretty and Deuce. Pretty is locked down and Deuce came barrelling out of the brush and backed her on instinct. Not bad considering that he was 4 months old at the time. Good breeding!

Hey gad, nice pics. Did you name Petty after Petty's BBQ in Starkpatch? Probably not huh, just made me hungry though. I sure do miss that stuff.

Where you been Bustin?

I'll just have to go out my back door to pop as many quail and pheasant as I want beginning in October. The hunting preserve is taking shape. I got birds growing, food plots growing, and dogs eating me out of house and home.

My pop and I are both on the same page with making the hunts as "wild" as possible, so it will be fun.
