Funny hare cut? At dog had been shot. I didn't shot at dog... The hare cut was to trim down to each pellet hole so's they could dress the wounds. He didn't look like no quail so's I didn't shoot him. Sam was a skinny dog but he run his booty off and enjoyed ever minute of it.

I used to think the prettiest scene in the outdoors was a group of Canadian geese with their wings locked, silently decending with their feet down.
After having the opportunity to do some south GA bird hunting about 10 years ago, I now think the goose scene is equaled also by the sight of a pointer silently quivering on point.
The beauty and silence in both scenes is awesome.
