"ANKLE-GAITERS" to wear or not to wear?

ankle gaiters are a must have, and I agree if i cant find mine i will use duct tape, electric tape, whatever i can find.
If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting.

I keep two or three pair in the truck or bag year round just in case if forget one or two. You fellas are showing your age and how long you have been duck hunting! I was corrected by a newbie last year when saying gaiters, he did not know what I was talking about. Most manufacturers call them ankle "garters" now. :shock:

I keep them in the pocket of my wader. It depend on what you hate worse: The pants scrunched up around your knees or teh feeling of the gaiter. I love mine.

Get mine from the Military PX, we wear them everyday with the fatigues. The are very thin elastic ban with velcro and you really never know you have them on. I use them during duck season and they work great. The best part is the only cost 75 cents a pair. I can't believe what the duck hunting supply stores sell them for. Anybody need a hand full let me know and I'll mail you some.

I use them but I don't use them on my pants. I put them on my socks because I cant stand having socks slide down into the boots of my waders.
