I've also heard of spraying with hair spray. On contact - their wings stick together. Of course, it's a slow death. Don't tell the PETA folks.

I also heard that it prevents wasps and bees from being able to breathe as they are said to breathe through their skin or exoskeleton, thorax or what ever the heck ya call it.....

Use the soap to kill the wasps and then use the larvae to bait your trotline..alternate baiting every other hook with a larvae and then a coke can.

Then, with all the money you saved on wasp spray, go to the store and buy you some catfish cause you ain't gonna catch spit on that trot line    and while your there be sure to buy a big pouch of Red Man to put on them wasp stings!

If you work near a farm, get some Lorsban and spray them and the nest. Somoetimes they hit the ground and sometimes they don't but they are too sick to get to you. Any that return to the nest get it on them and die too. You can also spray they shutters on your house or the other wood and when the wasps come to peel off some wood will die too. Spray it in the corners of you carport and the mosquitos won't come around either.
There's a reason it's called fishin'& huntin' instead of catchin'& killin'

Fellas, it just so happens that I watched a special about killer bees on the Discovery Channel this weekend ( I know how nerdy). Now I am an expert. HaHa. Most of the professionals that deal with these critters spary the nests/bees/wasps with soap and water. It could have been trick photography but it seemed to work pretty good during the show.

While working with my dad (a plumber) we carried a spray bottle of soap water to test gas fittings. It works great for killing wasps, bees, ect.

The soap and water may not keep the wasps from stinging you....but, you will have been stung by a very clean wasp! :D

The soap and water thing really does work.....most of the time.
