Catching Crappie Secret??? TOO FUNNY!!

Well here I am at work at an undisclosed hospital shooting the bull on crappie fishing!! We were talking about summer patterns vs. winter patterns etc when this convict in a jumpsuit with a dislocated shoulder pulled the curtain back and asked if we REALLY wanted to know how to load the boat up on crappie!! He said ifin you catch a crappie in the winter time, cut off a spool of line with a balloon attached and hook the fish!! He then swims back into the school of fish and you can stay on top of em!! The funny part is when somebody chimed in that it was illegal to do that....................... but keep in mind now that this fellow was wearing an orange jumpsuit equipped with chains and cuffs!!! It was too funny when he said that yep he thought it wuz illegal!!

have you ever released a fish softly back n the water and seen it head directly back to the spot where you caught it at? I've done this thousands of times and I believe the ballon thing will work.

Most cajuns believe that you must release the last red of the day, with the hook and cork attached. That way you can find the school the next day. true story.

Once had one break my line in the marsh and it swam away and about 30 minutes later, here comes my cork. Somebody wou8nd up hooking that cork with a nice cast and then they claimed MY fish!
