Wow, I didn't realize that Bama had sunk to UM's level of mediocrity.

Thats what probation and an incompetent athletic department will do for you.

Thank god we aren't Ole Miss...we'd never get back on the right track.

Newflash:

You are Ole Miss!

You've never been to the SECCG. Talk to me about getting on the right track when you get there.

At least M$U folks are more level headed and know where they stand. It amazes me that Ole Piss fans think they are somehow entitled to talk smack.

Whatever.

Here's the difference.....MS schools accept medicority and seem fine with it.

Alabama does not.

It's that mentality that has you where it is today.

Oh, and another thing, how many trips to the SECCG and SEC Championships do you guys have in this time frame?

All this talk about Alabama is quite flattering...doesnt matter if we are up or down- we still own you.

what do you mean weebmaster when you talk about acceptance???

are you saying that your 10 year record of 69-52 is not legit.. is this incorrect somehow?? you have to accept it son.. cause its a fact.. unless that list is incorrect..

facts dictate acceptance..

69-52 is more than acceptable for M$U and OM.

It's not for Bama.

If you're content with that record, congrats.

How confused are you, dude? I never said anything about records not being legit. Lay off the doobie.

Well, lets see ----- Rebs not content with 7-4 seasons and an annual trip to the weedwacker bowl, etc ----soooo, Cut is fired, a new coach is hired, and everyone else in the SEC acts offended ---- looks like UM is taking a different approach and NOT accepting mediocrity ----it may not work, but it beats giving up.

MSU fires JWS after a few losing seasons and hires Croom ---ostensibly, they hired Croom to win ---eventually --- and I'm not even a MSU fan, but I like the direction the MSU program is going ---- its positive, more disciplined, and should eventually produce success on the field with the addition of enough good football players ---- only sideline coaching may hold him back (same with Coach O, this is not a Croom slam).

Bottom line ---both MSU and UM have made moves to achieve higher ambitions and goals ---whether the moves work or not remains to be seen---- neither Croom or Orgeron has proven anything yet ---Orgeron has not even coached his first game.

How is this any different from the Tide? ---- the Tide has played the coaching shuffle the last several years ---- Shula has been brought in to win ---- so far, after two seasons, he has an overall losing record ----- this season could be another one like the others ----- how long does Bama keep Shula before his presence means "accepting mediocrity"? --whatever that means.

IF Orgeron has an overall losing record after two seasons, I would imagine that he would be on the "hot seat". After spotting Croom a season or two to right the ship, I would assume the same would be true for him at MSU. So, who is accepting mediocrity? Hint: look to the east.

You are Ole Miss....you'll never be anything.

Shula has another year or two to right the ship. He's on the fence right now...never said he wasn't. There's a reason they call it probabtion. Most logical Alabama fans know this.

It's funny hearing a MS version of "accepting mediocricy."
