Tell us about your bow/setup

Postby Dutch Dog » Tue Aug 02, 2005 10:36 pm

Lets hear what everyone is shooting. Bow, arrows, broadheads, rest etc. We don't need to turn this into a bragging thread, so FPS is optional.

04 Mathews LX Camo Easton 2213's (unibushings) with Thunderhead 85's. pulling 70 lbs or so. 70 lb limbs maxed out and backed off 1/4 turn...not sure of exact weight. Golden premier rest. and I have no clue as to the speed of the bow. 80% letoff.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Mathews VX Pro, so old, I can't remember the year model, 80% letoff, TM Hunter & Freestyle type sight. Poundage @ about 70. 360 ACC's w/ 125 gr. thunderheads, 4" feathers. Can't be shooting more than about 270 or so... Just fast enough to keep them fixed blade heads flying straight. Put some meat on the table in its day!!!

03 Hoyt Havoc, 33in draw, 75% let-off, PSE Carbon Express 200 arrows, 90gr Muzzy 4 blade, Trophy Taker Drop away rest, Predator IV pendelum sight, Simms limb savers, Doinker 5'' stablizer. I shoot 60lb pull, don't know the FPS, I'd guess 260-270.
