Mississippi's Top Prep Baseball player commits to Ole Miss

Postby RebelYelp » Wed Aug 03, 2005 9:52 am

Justin Reed, OF from Hillcrest and regarded by most scouts, etc etc as Mississippi's top baseball player has committed to play for Ole Miss. Good news if he actually makes it and isn't drafted, we've had good luck beating the draft with the exception of Van Slyke however.
Sun rise in the east.... and it sets up in the West, yes the sun rise in east baby, and it sets up in the west..... It's hard to tell, hard to tell, hard to tell, which one, which one I love best.....

Van Slyke still may end up on campus...he hasn't signed any contracts...he is being evaluated by the Dodgers in his summer league, and they'll make a determination on what type of offer they'll give at the end of the summer...

If my fellow Hillcrest baseball players keep going to Ole Miss, I think I am going to be sick! And to think when Glen Morris, and Seth Smith, and Stephen Head, and Logan Power, and that kid that got kicked off the team for drugs all committed, our current coach (Paul Wychazcey SP?) was an assistant under and still good friends with Ron Polk. Ithink I am going to be sick.... :x

Close friend of mine coached high school team against Satterwhite last high school baseball season, he said he is unbelievable, and he was a pro pitcher himself, so he knows talent...
