I've been saying that State won't beat either of those teams this year. I'm sure ole GH22 wont agree but who cares

Norwood is State's only playmaker. Who's gonna score the points when he gets hurt or defenses key on him and shut him down?

The jury's still out on State's defense. Croom can't keep folks on the team long enough to have a stable roster. Having moved everybody, he says he's pleased with the speed of the D, but forgets to mention that they're all midgets for their position.

6-5??? Puff...puff...give....

Midgets at their positions? How you figure that? The only midget on the D is Dockery at CB being 5'9".......rest are perfect height and weight.

I said the jury was still out...speed may save 'em. But Croom has DB's playing LB, LB's at end, and ends on interior of the D-line. They're gonna have to be real damn fast because they're not going to be bigger than anybody. Maybe they are that fast. Nobody knows for sure because they scrimmage against an offense that's led by QB that's a converted WR. The O-line is neither big nor quick.

We shall see...

He is doing like Bear taught, coached and preached......speed speed speed by any means. We've got one DB at LB, which is the best position for his size anyway. Moved a LB to DE for speed to offset Evans when he has to come out, moved Powell and Robinson inside. Croom wants all the LB's and DB's to have the mentality of a CB when the time arises. As for Conner, he's a QB by trade, Jackie just moved him to WR that frosh year just so he could play his top recruit. As for the OL, they took a major hit this morning, 2 starters demoted to 3rd string, 2 frosh move up to starting line, McNeil only OL that didn't change positions. We have no backups right now at RB right now except for Lowe, who is a converted receiver. If Norwood gets hurt, Pegues will be at RB and/or Sherrod and Hart will move to HB at 245lbs as bruiser backs. Jackie had 2 bruiser backs over 10 yrs ago that could dominate any game, Michael Davis and Kevin Bowie.

I just got a call from Coach Croom. It seems they are looking to add depth to the O Line. Somehow he found out Bigwater and I had a year of eligability left and wants us to report ASAP. It's gonna be a rough year, offensively. I think we will be ok on D.

The question is, Since Vandy is the east, which of these two teams will finish last in the west? The egg bowl will a major showdown on who will be the least suckest.

No way in hell MSU beats Arkansas, not on the road, not at Starkville, not even in heaven.

Ark 7-4, worst case, less sucky than Miss schools and with a brighter future.

Good quote PML.
That is what MR. T said in RockyIII. When asked what his prediction was he said My prediction? PAIN.
