Its still a little early to determine how this SEC season will play out. Especially with a big game tonight. I wouldn't be suprised to see TN pull it out. Still not sold on Les Miles.
Around the league...
Auburn- I think their schedule is playing in their favor. they may have lost the opener, but it was due to losing so many leaders. They still have an excellent chance to make a run for the SECCG.
Alabama- I am quietly and cautiously optimistic. This weekend is the biggest game on campus in quite some time. I'm hoping the playbook will be opened up this weekend. They were obviously looking ahead to this week when playing Arkansas.
LSU- The game tonight will tell us alot. They've obviously played one game under odd circumstances. I'm holding off on these guys until tomorrow.
Arkansas- their running game is really good. Their QB sucks. They will beat a team or two this year they werent supposed to. No bowl game though (again). BTW, Hoston Nutt gets a 100,000 bonus every year if he beats Alabama.
M$U- They definitely don't quit like they did 2-4 years ago. They will only get better. I just hope they dont do it the first weekend in November. Brutal schedule right now.
Ole Piss- Quickly becoming the laughing stock of the SEC. Wyoming? Come on?!?!? I thought these were Cutliffes players? Arent they supposed to be good? Or is it coaching? I say both. Welcome back to your rightful place, Rebs.
Florida- Obviously I'm pretty biased right now. They look good, but they are definitely beatable. Chris Leak is not an option style QB. Certainly some defensive coordinator can figure this out and put a stop to it. I'm hoping its Joe Kines.
TN- I don't think things are as bad in Crookville as people think. I'd love to see them fall flat on their face, but I still think its going to take some luck to get them into the SECCG.
Georgia- still haven't been tested. Their schedule plays in their favor too. Shockley isn't making the mistakes some had suggested (or hoped) he would.
South Carolina- If Aubrun beats them by double digits this weekend, ole SOS will be lucky to get to a bowl game. Coaching can only get you so far when you have mediocre players.
Vandy- I'm pulling for these guys. Bowl game is possible. There is alot of teams in the SEC who wish they had Cutler.
Kentucky- who cares.
