Repeat UKC/AKC Breeding

Postby Labs & Ducks » Mon Oct 03, 2005 5:01 pm

Folks,
I put this on the Dogs and Puppies Site, but doesn't seem to have gotten many looks. I'm gonna post it here where the majority of the dog folks look, and if it needs to be moved, no problem. I know this ad is sorta long, but I drafted it for another site, and I know that when looking for a pup, I want as much info as possible. If you know anyone looking for a pup, I'd sure appreciate you passing the word on. These pups have been raised indoors by my wife and me, and the first litter turned out really nice good hunt test results so far (finished and seasoned passes).

Thanks,
Matthew Graham

Hey Matthew,
Is Maggie out of the first Coffee X Ali breeding or the second?

Guys, I'm not reallyfamiliar with the stud, but have a brother to Maggie.
There's also a couple of other members with brothers also (Goosebruce &
R Harwell) All three of these dogs are HRCH ...Rowdy & Jumper have a ton of UKC points (both their owners have those special jackets from HRC)
Coal also has his MH, so I think this is a pretty strong bitch-line and may be worth a look. I realize the puppy market is a buyer's market now, but if I were in the market , I just might have to give ol Matt a call.

I think Ali is a sister to Jessie Sheppard's Rebel dog....1000 points, GRHRCH, MH.

Looks like a nice breeding.

Thanks for the comments guys, Maggie is from the first breeding. She is a littermate to Rowdy and Jumper, as well as several other HRCH's. Maggie is one fired up broad. She is very intense like the others I've seen from that litter (both litters), but very well controlled, and a great marker. I own Thunder as well. He is a really nice male. He is very well mannered, an excellent marker, and very honest. Handles like a dream, with very good lines. Hoping to have his MH title by the end of the fall HT season. Both Maggie and Thunder have taught me a lot. They run much better than I handle.

Skuna, you are correct. Ali is a littermate to Rebel. Also, Jesse did most of the training on Maggie, Thunder, and especially ME.

Four of the pups from the first litter went to youth ages 10-12. One was a YRP pup that already has 1 or 2 finished passes and should HRCH this fall. The other three that went to youth are being trained by the boys and girls that are the future of HRC. It has been very rewarding to get letters and pictures saying they get passes, and how many birds they retrieved while hunting. That's what it's all about!

Add 3 Upland passes to Thunder's resume'. Anyone planning on going to another upland test this fall? The only ones I know of are in TX and SC, but that is just to far to go looking for one pass. If someone were to be going though, I'd love to send Thunder and get it knocked out.

These pups are looking nice and still got some available. Anyone interested?
