Bama vs. Ole Miss?

Postby Dr. B » Wed Oct 12, 2005 7:43 pm

What's the attitdude in and around Oxford for the game this weekend? My hope is that my Tide is not thinking of Fat Phil and the volenteers and takes care of the Rebels Saturday. I bet UM plays a better game than most are giving them credit to play.

A good friend of mine who I am driving up this weekend to watch the game and he is about as die hard a Reb fan you might can find. He seems to think that the game is going to be over by half time. Thinks the Tide is going to take them out back and well you know the rest. Guess we will find out Saturday.

I have a white oak about an hour and a half from Oxford that is dropping with deer sign all around it. I am a rebel fan, but I believe I will be 30 feet up that white oak by the beginning of the 4th quarter. I hope I am wrong, I just don't we can hang with their second team.

if someone knows of some cheap tix on the Bama side let me know. My father in law is a HUGE Bama fan. We already got him tix for next week in Alabama vs. the Vols, but wouldn't mind getting him some tix for this game too since it's in his back yard basically.

The way Vegas opened with Bama going for -12.5, I would have to say the game is going to be closer than most people think. With that line they were begging for people to take Bama. Vegas usually gets the line pretty close.

ok..so it's 14.5 hours to kick-off and I'm already into the Bud Light dreaming of a Bama win. Love the quote qckmstr! I'm pulling every string I know for tix for next weekend and TN. I want TN's booty so bad it's pitiful! But I hope we take a little bite of rebel flesh as an appitizer! My advice, never bet on Bama. They've caused the loss of more paychecks than any team on the planet! Feedcall, you are the man! If I had the chance, I'd be in the woods as well. Just don't have the time to practice much with the bow anymore between wife, 2 kids, fall baseball, kid karate, church, work, work days at the hunting club, ect, ect, ect.. Gonna have to change that by next Oct. Mack's new catalog arrived today and I'm drooling. So much duck stuff and so little money! Anyway, Roll Tide and Go State! Ya'll have an awesome weekend!
