Pujlos (sp?) Homerun

Postby SWAG » Tue Oct 18, 2005 8:36 am

Talking about clutch. He hit a monster HR to send it to another game. Houston still has Oswalt and Clemens coming around again so the Redbird's future still looks dim. Never know though, could be a huge momentum swing?????

yep, one out away from the world series and now they won't make it. Astros won't be able to get anymore cheap home runs like the one berkman hit ti give them the lead in that game

Cards are hard to beat at home. they will have the crowd and the momentum. Cards live to fight another day.

I a Astros fan and I saw that $#!+ coming. They should have yanked that pitcher when he choked on the second batter.

That pitcher was throwing some pretty good stuff. He is the National Leauge version of Rivera. Edmonds had an unbelievable at-bat. Any other night and Jim would have swung at several of those close pitches. It was a great at-bat and without it, Pujlos never gets to the plate. With Oswalt and Clemens due for the next two games, the Cards are still in a world of hurt. Gonna be exciting if Matt Morris and Clemens end up in a duel in game seven. Not sure who is scheduled to throw, but it should be Morris I believe. Hope the Card's bats start doing something.
