Coots

Postby astorey » Fri Dec 02, 2005 5:26 am

You could go with some black duck double agent decs. That way if your fortunate enough to see a black duck, it could only mean a better attraction for em. Some of the flambeau pro series look like a coot on good food and possible a little steroids...It's been working for me. Good aquatic vegitation means the coots will come. A more realistic spread may help as well. Jerk-a-spreader works nicely, but it's hard on the decs paint!

ps. coot decs are cheaper(w/nobody buying many of them). Any black decoy is more visible from high flying mallard alltitude.

Good luck,
aubrey

I'm inventin' right now on a whole flock of 'em w/ spinning wings and the ability to run their booty acrost the water. You should see 'em go...the whole shebang runs from one side of the hole to the other then they turn and haul booty back. Makes me seasick so I'll sell 'em to ya cheap!

That's suprising the good ol 870 is in my opinion the best and most reliable but it happens to all guns at some point.

You know I have heard alot of bad things about kent but I tried some today and they actually worked pretty good. Have you had good luck with them?

alright tried the kent and i loved them. no hangups and shot pretty good. I opened a shell of winchester, estate, and kent and the winchester and estate looked like crap. The bb's were dented and some small variences in size and even found a few with holes in them. The kent were all the exact same size and perfectly round. Im not sure how much of a diference this makes but im gunna shoot kent now because of the winchester hangups.
