most of the google photos of MS are not at the highest resolution, they are updating them and there should be better photos avaliable soon. You can get on some the forums there and actually download some better images of some areas. There some guys out there creating some great mods of the google earth maps you can download for free. Other than that terraserver is about the best free site I know of. They have updated some of there maps but most of MS are still the 1996 maps.

Dutch Dog, help me pay for gas and I'll take you up. I can pick you up at Tunica or you can meet me at Clarksdale.

Seriously, I need to look at some of RebelDuck's holes anyway.

Dutch, what y'all need photos for? Just cross the road and ask my cousin Onion Miller where stuff is! Actually, Onion lives down the hwy a bit and my aunt lives across Sturgis Road from y'alls property. Killed my first turkey in those woods and killed a bodacious 10 point back in '68 about 250 yards behind the old Shady Grove Church which is no longer there. Still got lots of relatives living in that part of the country. Hope to over to see you guys during the holidays.

That's the best offer of all of them. You will learn a LOT by a 30-minute flight, and you can shoot your own photos. Get him to fly so that you can shoot pointing your camera north (makes it easier to orient yourself later when looking over your photos).

I pretty well know where stuff is, just an aerial photo helps me orient myself better by knowing where creeks run, how the property is situated, etc. I am a "map" type person...it's kinda like having a mental "map" of the place trained in my head. I want to see how different properties are in conjunction with each other. I mean we go into one property off of one road and another property off another road, which all join up, but I just want to know where they join and how etc.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

Try this. It's free and easy to use. Some of the maps are outdated but it's still free.
