Post the damn letter. It Its public information now. It is someone's opinion. Just like every other piece of information that gets posted on these websites.

For those of you who think they can edit and remove posts because they don't like the website, then I suggest you read the First Amendment. Its one of our most sacred rights. Sure, this is a controlled sight, but when you start allowing certain content to pass and some not too based on the Moderator's personal opinions then you will lose your credibility. If this site wants to remain legit, the get rid of the vulgar posts and let everything else through.

I know both the fellas and I've said my piece in other places, but I'll just say this, I really hate it for JP, I don't know him as well as others but you couldn't meet a nicer guy in my opinion....

As for Billy Ray Fann, met him to had a good time shootin' the breeze with him...and I don't believe that any of the anger about this situation should be directed at him personally...he's got a hard row to hoe covering the whole state, and this mess has been thrown in his lap, I don't envy him one bit, good luck Billy Ray....

This whole deal reeks of bean counting bunk.... and my take on that letter is that it express frustration at an administration at DU that seems unconcerned with supporting its members, and frustration over a personal friend losing their job....

...and even though Jelly can't keep his boards straight :wink:

...he brings up a good point somehow all this stuff ends up working out for the best....

Been hunting this weekend and off the board since Friday before lunch.

Doc, thank you for removing the letter. IMO, if that lady has as much class as some of you suggest, then she should have never sent that letter to BRF, nor made it public to anyone. IMO, it is a poor reflection on her to use BRF as her whipping boy for her beef with DU and the decision to eliminate the Northern RD position, which BRF had nothing to do with.

And for those of you taking me to task for some strong words, I respectfully submit that the situation called for exactly such words. I am normally as easy going and affable a guy as anyone on this board, and enjoy the banter back and forth. But, the unwarranted attacks on my good friend BRF were way over the line, IMO.

Sorry if I offended anyone. But, at least I do have the guts to share my feelings along with my name. Some of you anonymous schit slingers might want to consider following suit before leveling further insults my way. I don't have time for chicken schit or chicken schit bastards. If the shoe fits, wear it.

The silver lining in all this mess, expecially considering all the uproar, should be off the charts $$$$ numbers for DW in MS next year. As long as $$$ are going to the PPR to help the ducks, such should be good for the ducks. We shall see.

Mo Punkey Lounger -- You are doing exactly what you accuse her of. First of all, her email dealt with issues that were specific to her dealings with BRF. Whether they are true or not, I have no idea. Second, SHE did not make it public. She sent the email directly to the people involved with her decision. It was someone else who posted it publically.

Sorry, but I fail to find any similarity at all. I did not make any personal attacks against anyone, but simply was defending my good friend from a cheap shot. Had I initiated and started such a personal attack, then you would be correct. That did not happen and would not happen. I was raised better than that. Just calling it as I see it. Your mileage may vary.
