New Year goals

Postby Troy Williams » Mon Dec 12, 2005 12:35 pm

What are your goals within the group for the next test/trial season?

Mine are:

Finish Cody's MH.
Get more trial experience and QAA both Stone & Cody
Raise my puppy to be a well rounded strong competitor.
Train more consistently & smartly.
Get new truck with a 5 hole capacity.

1. Have my Brown dog running finished by fall. (Of course I might still be FF this time next year. :x :x
2. Train for masters and MH title Ace by fall.
3. Acquire a third zinger.
4. Learn how to train better.

Like Troy, train better, smarter, more consistently.

Get a notch better and run a master.

My first and only goal is to learn more than I teach. This forum is a big help with that. As far as my dogs goals:
Spring
1. At least 2 started passes for my new pup, Tink.
2. Senior title for Kipp and Jake.
3. A finished pass or two for Kipp and Jake.
4. If I can get her to deliver to hand (too young for FF) a Junior title for Tink.

Fall
1. HRCH title for Kipp and Jake.
2. Run a Master test with Kipp and Jake.
3. HR title for Tink.
4. SR title for Tink.

I like to set my goals high and keep reaching for them.

Mine would be simply to get as much time of as you guys get. I have to take vacation time just to get a weekend to attend a hunt test. Doubt I will make a duck hunting trip this year.
Got two chocolate pups to keep us busy. The female sure reminds us of Chipper. The male more laid back and less independent.

Glenn-
Sorry to hear about Marinda's mother..We missed you Saturday night. I always enjoy talking with you.

If you can get some time off let me know...We got ducks and are killing them in the timber not 20 minutes from my house.
