Back from Iraq

Postby RNAIL » Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:52 pm

My best buddy just got back from Iraq and his oldest son (15) is having a fit to go duck hunting. I am going to carry him with me some when I can get away. My buddy wants to carry him, his grandfather and cousin on a guided duck hunt to hopefully insure good results while he is on leave. Him or his son have never been on a duck hunt before so they are really looking forward to it. Any suggestions on a couple of good ones around the Delta area.

Catfish is alright, but i bet that Alben will argue that he is better. All kidding aside, they have been killing them every morning for some time now.

I also agree with Tallahatchie hunts. Bolton, Catfish's son, was my big brother in my fraternity at Millsaps. He and his family are some great people and he would always come back to campus late Sunday nights with pictures of a lot of ducks. I've never been hunting with them but they always have high kill numbers.

I have heard great hunt stories from people that hunted with Catfish.
If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting.

I went to high school with both of those boys. Graduated with Bolton and used to hunt with them all the time. Don't know how many times we were late for class 'cause we were waxing that booty. Used to go out to the parking lot and clean ducks during study hall. Alben can talk all he wants, but I've seen Catfish make a duck dang near break his neck trying to get in the decoys. Looked like one of those kamakazie planes.
