Immediate Madison area taxidermist needed? Recomendations?

Postby Thomas » Mon Jan 09, 2006 7:28 pm

I need to get a pintail and an eight point buck mounted. Prefer not to drive to freakin' Brandon to get it done. Any good folks in Madison do this?

Tommy Lovelace is a great feathers man. He used to live in Greenwood and has done some work for me that I'm well pleased with. He does great work, but stays backed up. Don't expect to get your mount back in a month or two.

taxidermist

Postby rt » Tue Jan 10, 2006 12:02 pm

THE taxidermist for the 8 point buck is Ken Kugle. the best around! he does it on the side at night and only mounts about 35 a season. Very artistic work, show material. His phone number is in the book under Charles Kugle. You will NOT be disappointed.

Sidney Malone is a guy you might want to look into for the duck. Maybe go look at some of his work first because I haven't seen any yet. He has been doing ducks and small game for a few years now. He is also int he book.

Sidney has two deer that he is finishing up for freinds of mine and they are very excited on the way they turned out. I am goin to visit his place to look at some ducks that he has done, my black duck may end up there.
