that is AWESOME!!! I would like to have permission to
come try to find this animal/person/thing. i want to
trap it and submit it to science. I would be willing
to split any royalties paid for the discovery.

In my opinion, you have found a sasquatch...

Somewhere years back I remember reading a story about deer that are born black. They are EXTREMELY rare. I also think there was some specific part of a state (can't remember where) that they are more comon in. That would be my guess, I would also guess it's a doe and if that's the case I would NEVER shoot it as it may throw some more of them and you could have some major trophy running around the woods then.

It does look like a curr dog but it is too tall. Compare it with the blind and the tree.

I think I stirred up something. :D

I am in the lines with Jeff. I think it is a deer with some deformities. It is
looking the other way, the right shoulder looks like it is messed up. The ground blind in the back ground is very large. It has two chairs in it. I am 6'1" tall and can stand up in it with no problem. I think this thing is about 3.5' tall.

I love the El Camino theory. :D

Sure hope it sticks its head out this weekend.

I think it is a deer too. Has a weird color phase. I have a picture on another computer somewhere that has a black 8 pt on it.But just because a deer has a color phase or albino does not mean it will pas on the genes. I hunted at a place in Fla that had an albino on it saw him 3 times . He was off limits to shoot. They said that he was the only one they had ever seen. Had a nice 16-17 in 8pt rack and was 4 years old.
But this aniaml is too tall for a dog that's for sure.
