Shelby Farms Training

Postby WhoaBeaver » Thu Mar 23, 2006 3:30 pm

For several of the last months, I've seen people in Shelby Farms in Memphis training dogs in the early morning and late evening. This morning I saw a pro-type truck and some kind of automatic white shirt gunner out in the field off farm road. I was just wondering if it was any of y'all and if it was part of a club or something. Any one know anything?

I have two training partners that trains there every day of the week, and I would guess that is who you saw. I train with them when I go back home.
Were they running Goldens?

Hey now. I couldn't see the dogs. I've seen a lady a few times in that area. That's all I know really.

Can you describe the trucks.
If it is the guys I know they probably would not mind and are extremely helpful. They are Field Trial guys.

It probably was some of the Mid-South people. I've stopped out there and talked to them before and they were real nice. http://www.mshrc.com

Those ponds out there are a special place for me and my wife. I proposed to her by one of them while we were out there training our dogs. Now it doesn't get anymore romantic than that!

he would yell 'TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!'
like his Daddy used to do" ... GO JACKETS!
