Everybody OK after last night
We had dime to gumball size hail in Cleveland. Tornado warning went off twice. I saw some wind damage but nothing major.

Got kina dicey in Tupelo. Seemed like about the time a tornado warning expired it was replaced with a new one. Went on for about 5 or 6 hours. Usually those front just move on through and it's over. This one was sllllooooowwww.

We got caught up under a little tent outside of the Dude last night. Everybody was holdin that thing down, then we had about nickel sized hail. Then we heard there were Tornadoes spotted around starkville, which scared the heck out of the girls but we had to buckle down and hold on. Everybody was ok in the end

Still standing here at Sharby Creek in Chickasaw County ---betwix Okolona and Houlka. We had a large nasty looking cloud bank heading our way early in the evening that radar reported contained a tornado ---a tornado warning was issued by the national weather service. As it started approaching, and I realized that it was going to come right over my property, the wife and I headed out of Dodge to go eat catfish well away from this area.
There was no touchdown of the tornado in my area, but that same cloud bank later produced a tornado touchdown further to the north near Fulton.
We had hail, heavy rain, strong wind, debris, but no cows in the air.

Talked to my buddy in Virginia today. He was all bummed because today was the turkey opener in his neck of the woods and said something to the effect of what you said. I told him to count his blessings. It may ruin a day of hunting for him, but remember that the weather yall get on the east coast kills people in these parts. We just tame it a little and send on its way to yall.
