Need help with Lasik Clinics -- Jackson

Postby Greenhead22 » Mon May 15, 2006 7:26 am

I need some help finding the best lasik surgeon in the Jax area. I've already got my stuff setup through the best place in Memphrica, but this driving back and forth to Mempho after I get in from La isn't going to cut it. I only know of one dr. that does it in Jacktown, flies in once a month from Stanford U., but his schedule and mine doesn't match up.

I drove to Hotlanta for mine and it was the best money ever spent. I went on a Thursday, had the surgery performed (all of 2 minutes), spent the night in a hotel across the street and came back the next morning and had my post-op checkup and all was well. Only took one visit for me.

I will recommend Dr. Nicole Anderson with Mississippi Vision Correction Center, she did mine and my wifes. Nothing but great news from both of ours.

You need to consider a hair transplant so you won't have to do that comb-over deal you got going while you're at it. :D :D :D

I had mine done a year ago Dr Ken Toler Jackson Eye Assoc.

$2400.00 for both eyes and if needed a touch up within the next two years is only $150.00 per eye

I got mine done about 4 years ago at Cook Eye Clinic in Vicksburg. It was $2400 for both eyes and was absolutely the best thing I have ever done. It is worth $10,000.00. I know of 6 other people that have had it done there and no problems.

Connie McCaa did mine last year. She is a very nice lady and did a great job. I would recommend her to anyone. A year later I am still 20/20 in my right eye and 20/18 in the left. Shooting has improved too.

She charges $4,000.00 which is all inclusive.

Jeff,
I wore coke bottle glasses and contacts for year. I had lasik done on both eyes 8 years ago by Dr. Coleman in Greenwood. I have a little better than 20/20 vision now. As much as you like shooting clays and hunting, your gonna love the end result. 8)

Got mine done for $600 per eye. Yep, you heard right. Watched a guy go before me that paid $1500 per eye. We had the same Dr and the same laser. Lasik is a HUGE money maker. If you know how to deal, you can save some real money.
