Columbus Lake

Postby dt » Wed Jun 07, 2006 7:13 am

I was just curious if any of you guys have done any duck hunting around Columbus Lake in Mississippi, the Tenn-Tom goes straight through and I know there is some corp land on it, I just moved in the area and was just curious.

No offence bud, but if there is any one on here that does, I doubt that they will gve you much info. Duck holes are a precious comodity.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Be mobile and scout a lot and you can be "successful" some of the time. Count on a lot of 10 minute hunts - if you know what I mean.
No sense being pessimistic, it probably wouldn't work out anyway.

A precious commodity alright. Especially on this side of the state. Limiting out around here on public land is like gettin a shot of leg on Sat night at a lesbian bar. Don't happen much.

Hard hunting on Columbus lake, try up Tibbie creek. The problem you will find is you got to get there early
