What I found (Bought a gun)

I will not go to anywhere else to shop other than Van's. Dont care if I have to pay a little more.

To make a long story VERY short , I left then house ready and willing to buy my boy a new gun. I was also looking to buy me a new gun. After going to 3 stores, I found that whatever they were doing was worth more to them than my money. Ended up at Van's and left with 2 guns (spent 1,200 dollars). For that I got a combo 410 for the boy and an over/under for me and a the one store I will be spending all my money at.

Before any of you MM lovers say anything about it, it was one of the stores and it was not the first time I have been treated like a pest rather than a guest but it was the last.

i once got an 1187 Super Mag in Walmart for 229.00. It retails around 6-700 I think. One of the unedumacated employees rang it up wrong. I forgot to tell them.

The middle-aged dude in the walmart off Gloster Street knows his firearms pretty well. However there is a fat black lady who also works in sporting goods who is downright awful. Why would they stick her in there if she (A) hates men, and (B) hates the outdoors?

Yea Van's is a good store. They have a really wide variety of stuff and all of the different ammo you can immagine. Don't mind dropping a few dollars there every few weeks.

Haphaz, what brand were the guns. My pops has been trying to get a stoeger over/under combo from the mm for a year now. im eyeing the 410 stoeger over /under for my 2 boys. Never seen a more classier little gun than it.

my boy is only 8, So I got him the 22/ 410 single shot combo. Looked at the stoger o/u 410 and liked it but decided that I'd buy him the single shot and then get him a auto 20 guage asap. he shot at the mallard manor shot and has asked every day when he is getting HIS gun. he can tell you how many days to teal season and asked for a picture so he know what to shoot.


Got a over/under 12 gauge ruger for myself.
