Personally, one day I hope to own a house that I can do just that. Sit on the back porch and whack a nanny for dinner if the feeling strikes.

One day i will have it.

i really feel two ways about this....i deer hunt for sport and meat...no real sport in killing a deer off the back porch, dont care if it is a wall hanger either....

but on the other hand, i'm not only gonna shoot the deer out my window, but ill do it at night if i can just catch the ones eating everything out of my garden...

I didn't really know what a tree stand was till I went hunting out of state. My deer stand always had heat, CD, DVD, and electric windows. Those windows are nice on Chevy's you can get the elavation just right. I go at night sometimes with my GEN III vision its easier than hooking up that light.

Well I just moved to a new house and there are deer coming up in my back all day long, I just would not feel to hot about blasting one in my back yard when I could go a little deeper in the woods to get one, or ride about 12 miles due north to me father in laws land and actually "hunt". Just wanted to see what yall would think about it.

I've got 3 "pets" in my yard in the middle of Madison. My girls are having fun watching them eat in the back yard. Mine are safe here.

I understand. 8) I see your point.

If a record buck was in your back yard, you would just seat at the window

and watch. I would have to think about it for 1 second and he would be

laying on his side. :P That would be the only way I would shoot.

There would be no question about that, I would blast him.

had a pretty decent buck in my grandparents back yard last night. walked out the back door and he didn't seem to get in much of a hurry to leave. this is in a pretty large neighborhood and i was shoked to see him. Best bait i have found are my grandmothers flowers. Between the deer and rabbits she has been having a hard time keeping her yard looking nice.

started to leave the neighborhood and saw 2 small bucks and 2 does on the main drag. I have no problem shooting deer off a back porch. not much difference between killing them there or killing them in the woods.
