Use to be a club I hunted it a lot. They kind of messed it up several years ago. They went in a cleared a lot of the buck brush so they could run pontoon boats to the blinds. I have taken a lot of ducks in that place.

It has been a good hole in the past, but I do not know anything about how it has been lately. You also might want to ask some people about Bobo Break. It is the same break. County Line Rd. runs throught he middle of the break. Annis is to the south and Bobo is to the north.

Why do folks always have to go and screw up a good thing? I have seen this many times over the years, people purchase a good hole out from under the boys that have hunted it for years only to screw it up while attempting to make it better!

From the looks of the thousands of birds in there (bobo) last december, I'd say it still is a good place to hunt.

Back in the 30's Bruno Fava bought the majority of the land that joins Annis. Everyone said he was a fool to buy worthless land that couldn't be farmed. The story goes that he gave 5.00 an acre. I know he was offered 13 mil for it 4 or 5 years ago. So much for worthless.

By the way, it is north of Alligator, not south.

What's the deal on the Bobo Brake part? Is it as good as Annis?

I am really not sure, but I don't see why it wouldn't be. Technically, it is the same brake.

Heard lots of good reports from some guys that hunt bobo break, I don't really know anyone who hunts the annis section, but I feel as though the hunting in there was comparable. It has been unbelievable in past years!!

Which side is better. The Annis side or the Bobo side?
