you picked the wrong link. I think you have 3 and then 3 more. Pick the first one in the second third.

Cull Buck/no brow tines!

Nothing amuses me more than a duckhunter until I started hunting deer regularly. Deer hunters are another breed all together.

Horns are nothing more than bragging rights. It don't make the hunter.

i agree. Still a cull if you are managing. He would get culled off of us too, but I know several folks that would love to kill a deer that good. I still like shooting all of them!!!!

Let two larger than him go last year. Watched them fight and just didn't have the heart to remove either.
The answer is that yes I would shoot him. I would also shoot a doe without any thought. Each kill for me has to feel right or I won't do it. Just depends on the mood of the moment.
If he was standing by a doe and I could take either I would shoot him. Doe's reproduce, Bucks just help it along and a spike and breed just as well as one of these mid range deer.

I don't see cull when I see a deer. It is either an oppurtunity or not, My decision not based on antler size except where legality dictates.

Me and Dan are like Night and Day when it comes to the deer! I have always had to kill X number of does before i kill a buck. so my decisions were to kill all the does i could before the rut! Still is my decision!
