What's the big deal about asking for info about lottery hunts like Muscadine or Noxubee? It's not like all 256 boats that were at Matthews Brake last weekend are going to be able to show up??? Why not help out on these places?

Had a thought. why dont we take a vote
The ballot... "I hereby being a member of MSDUCKS, declare that I am not a topwater, and further consent to Micah removing all posts from this site which mention any public hunting place within the state of Mississippi"
"I further cast my vote that a blocking mechanism be in place that prevents such words from being spelled on this here site."
ALL THOSE IN FAVOR, SAY:

Thumbing through a few threads here and see an all too familiar pattern developing for this time of year. People asking where ducks are, people replying and Anatidae ending it with a well worded reply. I only met Anat once but he was nothing but a stand up guy.(don't care what you say about GH22, he's a good guy too) The end of my publicized duck hunting career came on and icy morning (very thin ice) four years ago. a friend and I sat concealed in shallow water in some bullrush and watched three idiots in a boat run within a 100 yards of our spread which they may or may not have seen. There were a 100 or so coots sitting between us and them and they turned the boat toward us with one gunner laying on the front deck and to our horror started shooting. With the shallow angle on the water the shot ricocheted off the water and hit us both. (not peppered) We crawled to the bank and got in the trees and waited it out as the rampant shooting went on for a good ten more minutes. After a tweezer session and a lot of peroxide in the truck I swore off public hunting.
