Afternoon hunting?

I like to hunt morning , sleep lunch, drink beer afternoon and night. Sometimes check deer field at dark.

I aint educated in the when wheres or why's but I do know a lake that USED to be a great afternoon place to hunt....Now if you see 10 ducks past 2 o clock their lost.

me and some guys i hunt with had a place we always would hunt in the morn then if we didnt limit in the first couple hours we would pack up and head to a place where ducks always seemed to be at by 11 or 12 we hunted it hard for a while now ur better off going home and quackin the wifey

if you arent seeing ducks in the morning, why would you think shooting in the afternoon would be bad? Theirs nothing to run off if they dont fly in the am.

Ice makes ducks fly late. Full moon does too. Last week we where froze every morning, and clear every night. No ducks flew until after noons.

But if ducks are in a general routine, shooting in the afternoon will ruin a place. Course if ducks are in a general routine, you ought to be in a waffle house by 9 am saying damn that was fun. Aint had no 9am breakfasts this year. travis
