Saw Some Big Ducks

Saw about 100-125 big ducks this weekend in some flooded corn near Bovina, MS. Damn water got my deer all messed up! If it stays that way, I guess I'll be qackin' this winter.

You saw what near BOGROW. Thats a little much isnt it, some places in the delta right now down have those kinda of numbers and the fields up there still have beans on them. Im not saying u didnt see it though. Well good luck and keep us posted on the situation near bovina. Im from v-burg myself.

I saw about 3000 hollywoods this past weekend. No mistaking em either. There were about 2000 other birds with em and those were a mix of teal, ringnecks, gadwalls, pintails and a few mallards.

Lived and hunted in bovina for 30 years and know it like a Democrat knows welfare. I saw hundreds of mixed ducks in a 40 acre corn field about 2 weeks ago just north of bovina if you know what I mean. Had some of my best hunts ever in this "area". If the conditions are right you cant beat it.

hey THRASHER i know what u mean and have a pretty good idea of the area you might be talking about. I might even know you are some guys that you hunt with near Bovina. I know a couple of guys in Bovina that hunt ducks pretty hard and some deer. Anyway glad to see that you saw that many and hope they stay around long enough for you. Have you seen any ducks in the delta yet (south Delta) around rolling fork are general area.
