Crossgates Lake?

Postby deltadukman » Thu Dec 21, 2006 2:02 pm

Guys I am somewhat new here but I have a question. Everybody is talking about there favorite public place to hunt so I would like to express my opinion. Crossgates Lake is super. Like most public bodies of water in the state right now we don't have many ducks right now. But when they are here it is awesome. You can't get them to leave. And the best part is there is literally noone ever out there. Anybody else like to hunt there much?

The other day I shot a duck out there that had to be very rare. If he had a beard he would look like an adult gobbler. Anybody know what it might be?

I haven't ever shot the ducks, but the goose hunting is top notch!
