feeding

i was just wondering how much yall feed your dog. How much food per serving and how many servings per day. ive got a 6 month old golden retriever and feed her twice a day. i was reading on the web about recomended amounts and most sites are all different. just wondering what yalls opinions were.

I only feed mine once a day, I usually fee the reccomended amount on the bag.

the vet says split the amount, once morning and evening. i only feed in the afternoons though. people here will say my feeding habbits arnt to good thats what the vet will tell ya

Depends on which food, Old food was 3 1/2 cups a day new food is 4 cups a day. I look at them daily and judge what they need. I like to see a little bit of rib. I may adjust 1/4 cup more or less for week if I need to. I only feed once a day at night just after we eat.

Go with what your vet tells you. Keep em' on the lean side the first couple of years while the bones are growing. Lean, not skinny. Also, make sure to feed the good stuff. Sh*t in...sh*t out, ya know? Good luck!
