Going to stack up on some new crappie baits tomorrow, probably be today since all you old timers are in the bed. What is some of you guys' favorite crappie baits? Minners don't count.

I've always been a big fan of Slater jigs.

Don't matter so long as it's red/chart. or black/chart. My secret weapon is a two and three quarter or three inch (can't remember) Fin-S in Arkansas shiner. Rebelduckaholic turned me onto them, and they're the shizzle, especially, after every fool in north Miss. has shown 'em a red/chart. tube.

Sorry reb, secret's out!! :P :P Thought I'd give you a little competition out there this year!

One color combo for me - blue and white. I don't use anything else other than a shiner on another pole real deep, depending where I'm fishing.

I agree anything they (mid south) makes. If you can find one of their jig poles you'll love em.

Found what I was looking for in Louisville. Tiny shads in electric chicken color and road runners. Great co op!
