Dove Season.... how's it going so far?

Had the benefit of some most excellent hospitality, facilities and story tellin near Egypt, I think. (near Okolona). We got a few birds and I shot lights out, for the first time ever. (it once took 4 boxes to get 5 birds!) I'm sure no one got a limit, though. Meeka had to miss as she is recovering from the second half of the mamectomy. She never woulda believed my shooting.

I hope I get a re-invite in duck season. They got a little area there that they like. They seem to do just fine and aint even in the delta!

We didn't hunt until Monday because of the rains. We didn't have very many birds, mostly young birds. I only shot 11 times and picked up 8 birds. First time I ever dove hunted and needed waders
