April oxbow crappie tips

Postby Wingman » Sat Mar 10, 2007 3:50 pm

Guys, I'm looking for April crappie fishing tips on Delta oxbows. You don't have to give the name of the lake, but just general information on how to catch slabs in April on our Delta oxbows. What tactics, gear, water depths, temps, etc.

PM your tips, name (first and last) and mailing address so I can send you a copy of Mid South Hunting and Fishing News when it is printed.

I need this stuff in the next 4-5 days.

Thanks,
Rob

You can post your tips as well. I think we could all use them. :)

I have caught 58 in the last 2 days on the Tenn Tom, some were good fish and some were average size.

Why do you think I am telling everybody to go? The more people there, the easier it is to get a "limit".

Wingman is there a limit on how many hooks you can have on a pole? I saw a guy trolling with 20 ft poles, had 10 hooks per pole, and 20 poles. It takes him 200 minnows just to bait up.
