Any late-season DOVE hunters around?

Postby dos gris » Wed Jan 08, 2003 10:22 am

Well, we lost all our water in the marsh down south with the westerly winds so the duck huntin has been at a stand-still for us. However, the dove hunting has been out of sight. Anybody take part in this late-season dove action....lots of big fat yankee birds down in SW MS right now.

naw, but I have been on a snipe hunt when the ducks were not flying. Kinda fun.

This is my favorite dove season. I wish they would take a week off of the October season and add to the third season.

I have shot a limit once a week on our shoots. Just have to be VERY still - oh, and I have been throwing a grey stuffed sock, on a spinning outfit, over the powerline  .. Damn birds try to light right next to it.
